Work will begin on N-41, east of Clay Center

June 13, 2025 (Grand Island, Neb.) — Weather permitting, work will begin June 16 on Nebraska Highway 41 (N-41), from reference post 0+34 to reference post 11+91, east of Clay Center, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Vontz Paving, Inc., of Hastings, is the prime contractor for this project. Work includes culvert replacement, milling, asphalt overlay, grading and seeding. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers and temporary traffic signals. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is Dec. 2025.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
