Work will begin on N-11, Cairo North project

Weather permitting, work will begin Aug. 6 on N-11 at reference post 27+48, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

JMN Construction of Valley is the contractor for this project. Work includes bridge deck repairs, pile driving, building new grade beams and approaches, asphalt overlay, guardrail and joint replacement. Traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic signals. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is Dec. 2024.

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
