State: GI Home Federal Takes On Westside Saturday

(Elkhorn, NE) - The Grand Island Home Federal baseball team will take on Omaha Westside on Saturday, July 27th for the first round of the Class A American Division state baseball tournament game at Frerichs Field in Elkhorn. GI is coming off their A7 area tournament championship run in Scottsbluff this past Tuesday defeating North Platte 20-4 and 6-5 to advance to Elkhorn. North Platte advanced to the National Division state tournament in Lincoln. North Platte will take on Creighton Prep on Saturday also at 4:00 pm.
