St. Paul-Centura set for C2 Volleyball Clash.

Its the Battle of Howard County Tuesday night in Centura as the 7-1 St. Paul Wildcats hit the road for a Lou Platte Conference Showdown with Rival Centura who enters the contest as well with an identical record of 7-1.
Since their opening night loss to David City, Matt Koehn-Fairbanks and the Wildcats have won 7 straight contests including winning the Lexington Invite a couple of weekends ago. The Cats have won 15 straight sets with their last set loss coming vs Ord in their 2nd match of the year.
While the Cats lack size they make up for it in athleticism and confidence in each other. Coach Koehn-Fairbanks says everyone playing for the Wildcats are playing their best right now whether its Katie Oakley or Aubree Fitzgerald on the Outside, Zaya Lewis setting up the offense, Pipyr Klinginsmith and Macy Porter in the middle, as well as Delaney Jennings and Keislyn Poss in the backrow.
The challenge in front of them tonight brings another chapter to the rivalry between St. Paul and Centura. Last season the Cats swept the regular season matchup 3-0 but the Centurions got their revenge knocking the Cats out of the winners bracket in the Lou Platte Conference Tournament last year 3-1.
Centura started the season off with 7 wins to kickoff the year with wins over Doniphan-Trumbull, Ord, Alliance and Sidney amongst other before falling to Ogallala in the championship at the Cozad Invite. The Centurions are paced by Taya Taukiuvea, Kennedy Davis and, Emmarie Lutz as all 3 come in with at least 50 kills each.
It will be JV/Varsity only no reserves
