Sodbusters Win Series Against Plainsmen

The Hastings Sodbusters avoided big innings early and rallied past the Plainsmen 9-2 on Monday. The Plainsmen stranded six in the first three innings and scored only once. The Sodbusters tied it in the fourth then scored three runs on no hits in the fourth to take the lead for good.

Tyler Welsh went 2-4, doubled knocked in two and scored twice. Kale Jensen was 2-3 with an RBI and run scored. 

Brock Cross, Marcus Miller and Adam DeBoer combined on a six hitter with Miller picking up the win with four innings of relief and seven strikeouts.

Hastings won't be home again until July 14th.
