Sodbusters Open with Win

Creighton Jacobitz threw seven no-hit innings and The Hastings Sodbusters opened the season with a 5-1 win over The Spearfish Sasquatch on Friday. The Adams Central grad struck out nine, walked three and hit three in throwing over 100 pitches. Zach Stewart allowed one unearned run in the final two innings. 

Drew Vega, Luke Caussey, and Weston Johnson each had two hits to pace the offense. The teams meet at 6:35 tonight.
