Sodbuster Earn Series Win
The Hastings Sodbusters split a doubleheader with Spearfish on Sunday. The outcome gave Hastings the weekend and season series win.
In the opener Spearfish scored six runs in the fifth for an 8-5 win. Michael Hanna was the hard luck loser giving up only two earned runs in the inning. Hastings managed just three hits.
The Sodbusters dominated game two 12-3. Hastings outhit Spearfish 12-5. Taylor Gill, Ryan Jarvis, Sawyer Duddleston, Kale Jensen and Alexiel Delgado each had two hits. Cohen Evans of Grand Island worked 3.1 innings in his Sodbuster debut to pick up the win.

Hastings hosts 28-4 Casper for a four game series beginning tonight at 6:35 at Duncan Field.
