Pillen Officially Files to Run for Re-Election
LINCOLN, NE – Governor Jim Pillen, with his family by his side, officially filed today to run for re-election as Governor of Nebraska.
He enters the field with a historic $11.8 million raised since taking office in 2023, along with the "Complete and Total" Endorsement of President Donald J. Trump, and the backing of numerous other current and former Nebraska business, agriculture, law enforcement, and public leaders.
The first farmer to serve as Governor in over 100 years, Pillen has delivered on over 90% of his campaign promises, including signing the most pro-life legislation in state history into law, cutting taxes for all Nebraskans, banning lab-grown, fake "meat," protecting girls' sports, and partnering with President Trump to secure the Border.
With the Republican primary set for May 12, the Pillen campaign is in an unprecedentedly strong position, with the resources to communicate the Governor's vision for another term to voters statewide and the conservative record of the Pillen-Kelly Administration to back it up.
