Northwest Volleyball Sweeps Crete

(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest volleyball team defeated Crete on Tuesday night in straight sets, 25-7, 25-15, 25-21.
The Vikings were led by Elli Payne with 10 kills, Ava Janulewicz with 9 kills, and Nasya Anderson chipped in 6 kills. The Vikings would have 10 ace serves in the match. Setter Kenna Bowman would have 25 set assists in the three sets.
Crete drops to 2-2 on the season with the loss. Northwest is now 6-3 and will next be in action on Thursday, September 11th, traveling to North Platte to take on the Bulldogs. Listen live on 103.1 FM & 2dayfm1031.com with first serve set for 7:00 pm.
