Northwest Volleyball Defeats Adams Central In Five

(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest volleyball team won a five-set match vs Adams Central on Tuesday night. 19-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 16-14.
Northwest would get 30 kills from Ava Janulewicz. Elli Payne would end the match with 18 kills. Tessa Scheer & Nasya Anderson each would have 4 kills. The Vikings would get 8 ace serves on the night. Three came from Kenna Bowman, who would also have 47 set assists on the night. Halle Rice led the way in the dig category with 22. Kenna Bowman chipped in 14, Allie Nelson 13, and Chloe Thielen had 11.
The Vikings are now 13-6 and will be back in action on Thursday, October 2nd, at Lexington, then travel to Scottsbluff/Gering to play in the Twin Cities Volleyball Invite on Friday and Saturday.
