Northwest Softball Wins Three At LPS Invite

(Lincoln, NE) - The Northwest softball team would snag three wins on Friday, August 29th at the Lincoln Public Schools Invite.
The Vikings would open the day with a 7-4 win against Papillion La Vista. Then defeat Lincoln Southeast 12-3, and in the final game of the day down Lincoln Pius X 10-0.
Northwest would get home runs on the day from Alexis Glaze, Abby Dinkelman, Becca Dinkelman, Libby Loman, and Gracylnn Simmons. Simmons would also have 25 total strikeouts in 16 innings of work for the Vikings.
Northwest is now 5-2 on the season and will be back in action on Tuesday, September 2nd, at Kearney High. First pitch is set for 6:30 pm with radio coverage on 103.1 FM.
