Northwest Football Looks For Third Win In A Row
(Lincoln, NE) - Coming off a 42-0 win last week at home vs Crete, the Northwest Viking football (3-5) team will look to win their third game in a row traveling to Lincoln Northwest Thursday, October 25th for a week nine matchup. The Vikings will be searching to make the Class B state playoff field for the 10th straight year as Northwest with a win Thursday night will have an outside chance to get into the 16-team field starting next Friday night.
Lincoln Northwest comes into the match-up with a 0-8 record. Last week the Falcons lost vs Lincoln Standing Bear by a final score of 36-24. Northwest opened as a school in the fall of 2022 only playing three games and cancelling the rest of the season due to low numbers.
