Northwest Boys Run Away From Adams Central, 64-43

(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest boys basketball team defeated Adams Central on Thursday night, 64-43. The Vikings would get off to a great start in the game, leading right out of the gates 9-0. Northwest would then lead 13-1 as Adams Central would not get their first point in the game until the 3:04 mark left in the first quarter. 

The Patriots would cut the deficit to two in the second quarter, but the Vikings would balloon the lead back to 33-22 going into halftime. Northwest would then outscore Adams Central in the third quarter 13-6 and 18-15 in the fourth. The loss for AC would snap a five-game winning streak to push the Patriots to 9-3, hosting Doniphan Trumbull on Saturday.
