(Chadron, NE) - Graduate post Kia Wilson went 9 of 9 from the field and sophomore post Bailee Sobczak had a big effort as well to help Nebraska Kearney dominate Chadron State, 86-59, Saturday evening in Chadron.

The Lopers (6-2) improve to 62-13 all-time against the Eagles (2-4) and now readies for league play as Washburn and Central Missouri come to Buckle Court next weekend.

The Eagles hit a couple of early threes to lead 12-9 about six minutes in but a 14-2 Loper run flipped the script and it was all Blue & Gold from there. Chadron went 10 minutes in between buckets in the first half and trailed by double digits for much of the afternoon.

"What we are striving for is perfect execution of the scout. That was so much closer to that goal, and we battled our tails off," said UNK head coach Drew Johnson. "We have some sickness, had some kids under the weather so to be able to that, play everyone under 30 minutes and get back to what we’re trying to do; that's holding people under 60 points."

UNK pounded the ball inside all afternoon long to both Wilson (St. George, Kan.) and Sobczak (Rapid City, SD). They responded with 35 points, 10 rebounds and 15 foul shots. Wilson had a team-high 19 points with Sobczak at 16 thanks to eight freebies and four buckets. UNK's single game field goal percentage mark starts with 10 attempts and two players have gone 10 for 11.

"We didn't know both were going to have big games on the same day. They were both awesome and so efficient," said Johnson. "We challenged them a bit and they've really responded well over the last 10 days."

The Lopers shot 52% from the field, were plus 15 on the glass and had 12 steals. Both teams struggled at the line, UNK 21 of 36 (58%) and the Eagles going 10 of 15 (67%).

Also for the Lopers, junior point guard Jillian Aschoff (Lincoln Pius) had 14 points (8 of 10 FT's), seven rebounds, six assists and three steals with sophomore reserve point guard Saniya Simmons (Olathe, Kan.) at 11 points, three thefts and two times. Finally, Iowa graduate wing Meg Burns and Lincoln sophomore Brinly Christensen both knocked down a pair of threes.

CSC was paced by junior guard Camern Morris (18 points, four rebounds) and senior forward Ashayla Powers (16 points, eight rebounds).
