Legislative Amendment to Fast Track Tom Osborne into the Nebraska Hall of Fame Stalls.

The initial effort to change rules to immediately allow Tom Osborne into the Nebraska State Hall of fame hit a snag.  District 33 State Senator Dan Lonowski’s  amendment to LB596 was challenged by several senators as unconstitutional. It prompted an exchange between Lonowski and one of the opponents, Senator Megan Hunt.  Lonowski later withdrew the amendment. The measure could come to the floor in another form later in the session.
