Laurent Returns Home To Host Summer Softball Camps

(Grand Island, NE) - Ava Laurent, the 2022 Class B State Champion pitcher for the Northwest Vikings is coming home this summer to host softball camps for three different age groups at the Webb Road Fields in Grand Island. Laurent just finished her freshman campaign at Pittsburg State going 19-1 in the circle for the Gorillas. Pitt State finished the season 53-8 ending with the Gorrillas hosting an NCAA Regional as Pitt lost to Augustana twice. 

Laurent pitched 169 innings this past season with 201 strikeouts and ended the year with a 1.98 ERA. She was also named MIAA freshman of the year. The Northwest grads softball camps will be run June 24th through the 26th with limited space available for 8U and 10U and plenty of availability left for 12U. Registration link HERE
