Landfill Limited Access Due to Overnight Rain

The Kearney Area Solid Waste Agency Landfill announces limited access due to overnight rain. Commercial haulers of refuse will still be able unload at the working face, but need to proceed with caution. The site is very wet. Those having loads that typically utilize the onsite tipping station will be unaffected.
However, all other general access to the landfill, including yard waste, is not possible today due to the on-site conditions. We anticipate the landfill will be back to normal operating hours tomorrow, Saturday, April 27, but Staff will continue to monitor. Please call the Landfill at 308-233-3607 with any questions.
