Kuusela Signs With Hastings College Bowling

(Grand Island, NE) - Grand Island Senior High bowler Kaleigh Kuusela signed with Hastings College bowling on Tuesday at Westside Lanes after a dual with the York Dukes. 

The Islander girls are coming off the Heartland Athletic Conference championship on Monday. 

Next week, the Grand Island girls will be hosting the district tournament on Tuesday, February 3rd. Other teams participating will include: Lincoln East, Omaha North, Omaha Northwest, and Omaha Buena Vista.  

The Grand Island boys bowling team will also host its district tournament, taking place on Thursday, Jan. 29th. The Islanders will battle with Lincoln East, Creighton Prep, Omaha Central, and Omaha Northwest.
