KPS Students Selected for Nebraska Middle Level All-State Orchestra

Kearney, Neb. — Kearney Public Schools is proud to announce that three students have been selected to participate in the Nebraska Middle Level All-State Orchestra Festival, which will be held on November 20, 2025, in Lincoln.

Representing Kearney Public Schools are:

Yifan Huang – Cello
Rowan Miller – Viola
Bridget Lind – Alternate Viola

This annual statewide honor brings together top middle-level string musicians from across Nebraska for a day of rehearsal and performance under the direction of distinguished conductors. Selection for the All-State Orchestra recognizes students for their exceptional musical talent, dedication, and achievement.

The Nebraska Middle Level All-State Orchestra Festival is sponsored by the Nebraska Music Education Association and celebrates the achievements of student musicians while providing them the opportunity to perform with peers from across the state.
