Gun Shots on Christmas Day in Grand Island

(Grand Island, NE) - On Christmas Day just before 6:00 am a report of gunshots dispatched Grand Island Police to 414 E 1st St. Upon GIPD arrival multiple gunshots were heard. A female and young child would run out of the residence. Isaac Aragon would break a window of the residence and exit the residence with a pistol in his hand. Aragon would then drop the pistol and was then taken into custody. Damage from the bullet holes was observed in the residence and the neighboring residence of 418 E 1st St., which was also unoccupied at the time of the incident. Aragon would be arrested for Unlawful/Intentional Discharge of a Firearm, Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony, Intentional Child Abuse (no serious injury), and Criminal Mischief-$501-1,499.
