Grand Island Young Professionals to the 10th Annual State of the City Address

(Grand Island, NE) – The Grand Island’s Young Professionals program is hosting the 10th annual State of the City Address Thur., Jan. 22, 2026, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Venues on South Locust (1607 S Locust Street, Suite A, Grand Island, NE 68801).

This informative morning will provide the public with an opportunity to hear from community leaders about pressing issues and initiatives happening in the community. The State of the City Address is free and open to the public.

• Ron Peterson (Hall County Commissioners)
• Matt Fisher (Grand Island Public Schools)
• Brad Mellema (Grand Island Tourism)
• Melissa DeLaet (Greater Grand Island Community Foundation

This event provides a unique opportunity for Grand Island and Hall County residents to hear from key elected officials and development representatives on issues important to the community. 

Attendees will hear from these organizations all in one place, with each presenter allotted 10 minutes. Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session where audience members can ask questions directly.
