Grand Island Public Pools Set To Open This Weekend

The City of Grand Island’s swimming facilities will be open for summer on Saturday, May 24. All facilities are open seven days a week. Operational hours are as follows (weather permitting):

  *   Island Oasis Water Park - 321 E. Fonner Park Rd:
Monday-Wednesday - 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Thursday-Sunday - 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

  *   Lincoln Pool – 1018 E. 7th Street:
Monday-Sunday - 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

  *
Veterans Park/Stolley Park Splash Pad – 2820 N. Broadwell:
Monday-Sunday - 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

  *
Wading Pools:
*Lincoln Park – 715 Beal Street
*Pier Park – 500 S. Oak Street
*Grace Abbott Park – 601 W. State Street
Monday-Sunday - 11:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Lastly, Jackrabbit Run Golf Course will also be open for Memorial Day Weekend. The course will be open for both practice and play from 7:30 a.m. until sunset.
