Grand Island, Neb. — Now is the time to use your cooking skills to present your best show-stopping dish at February’s meeting of the ‘Cooking the Books’ Cookbook Club, which is in Meeting Room A on Saturday, February 17 at the Grand Island Public Library.

If you are a fan of food, cooking and trying new recipes, you will enjoy ‘Cooking the Books.’ Participants select a cookbook, test a recipe (or a few) and bring one of their creations to share with the group. Members will then discuss their cookbooks, the recipes, the cooking experience and more. The Grand Island Public Library will be closed on Monday, February 19th for a staff in-service day. While the facility will be closed, the library’s book drop will be open for patrons to return materials.The library will reopen Tuesday, February 20th at 9:00 a.m
