Grand Island City Offices Closed for Veterans Day

Grand Island, Neb. — With the Veterans Day on the horizon, the City of Grand Island would like to announce various planned closures.

All of the departments below will be closed on Tuesday, November 11:

*Grand Island City Hall
*Crane Public Transit
*Utilities Service Center
*Solid Waste Facility
*Grand Island Public Library
*GIPD Service Desk (Please call 9-1-1)
*Transit Office
*Street & Fleet Office
*Wastewater Treatment Plant
*Grand Island Cemetery Office

Jackrabbit Run Golf Course will remain open for both practice and play from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Community Fieldhouse will also be open from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. The Heartland Shooting Park and Heartland Events Center will be closed.
