GIPD Makes Flight to Avoid Arrest

(Grand Island, NE) - On Monday, June 16th at 9:13 am, Grand Island Police Officers responded to 1322 Sheridan Place, referencing a known male trespassing into the residence while the doors were shut and unlocked. The male was identified as Anneudis Arias Pena. Anneudis also made threats in a menacing manner. He was no longer on the scene when officers arrived.
Anneudis’ vehicle was later located, and a traffic stop was attempted near 3rd and Madison. Anneudis
continued driving eastbound and failed to stop while emergency overhead lights and sirens were
activated. The traffic stop was terminated. The vehicle was later located unoccupied and was towed.
Anneudis was later located walking near 4th and Clark.
Anneudis was placed under arrest for Trespassing, 3rd degree Assault, Menacing Manner, Flight to avoid (felony), and No Operator’s License.
