GILT Presents Summer Musical, 'Disaster!'

Hear an interview with cast members below.

Grand Island Little Theatre announces the summer show of the 2024-2025 season, “Disaster!”, a musical comedy by Jack Plotnick and Seth Rudetsky. Show dates are June 11, 12, 13, & 14 at 7:30PM and June 15 at 2PM at College Park Auditorium, 3180 West US Highway 34, Grand Island.

Earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and unforgettable songs of the 70’s take center stage in Broadway’s side-splitting homage to classic disaster films. It’s 1979, and New York’s hottest A-listers are lining up for the opening of a floating casino and discotheque. What begins as a night of boogie fever changes to panic, as the ship succumbs to multiple disasters. As the night turns into day, everyone struggles to survive and, possibly, repair the love that they’ve lost…or, at least, escape the killer rats.
