GICC Football Opens Season With A 44-0 Win Over St Cecilia

(Grand Island, NE) - The Grand Island Central Catholic football team kicked off the 2025 season with a home shutout win over St Cecilia on Friday night, defeating the Bluehawks 44-0.
The Crusaders were rolling by halftime with an already 38-0 lead.
GICC, now 1-0 on the season, will next be in action on Friday, September 5th at Malcolm. Due to Malcolm's football field lights being damaged during a summer thunderstorm, the game will have a kickoff at 5:00 pm. Listen live on KRGI 1430/105.5.
