Offense: Resisting Arrest
Victim: Incident #: L25031560
Offender: Gregory Dowdy
Date and Time of Incident: 3/14/25 @ 19:03
Location of Incident: US N Hwy 281 & W State St
Brief Narrative: On 03-15-2025 at approximately 1903 hours, Officer's observed Gregory Dowdy traveling west bound on W Capital Ave and N Handcock Ave. Gregory was confirmed to have an active Hall County warrant for his arrest. When Officers attempted to contact Gregory, with emergency lights and siren's activated, he fled on his bicycle. Gregory was stopped and arrested by Officers at N 281 and W State St. While officers were placing Gregory in handcuffs, he was kicking his legs and pulling his arms away in an attempt to stop Officers from placing handcuffs on him. Gregory Dowdy was then booked into Hall County Department of Corrections on 03-14-2025 at approximately 2145 hours. A criminal history records check was completed which showed Gregory to have two prior resisting arrest charges. Gregory Dowdy was arrested for Hall County Warrant Failure to appearCR25- 25-49529-426 MOIII, Obstruct a peace officer 28-906 MOI and Resist arrest-2nd/subsequent offense.

Offender: Emmett Davidson

Location of Incident: 2118 Sherman Blvd
Brief Narrative: On 03/14/2025, officers responded to a report of Emmett Davidson, inside the residence of 2118 N Sherman Blvd. A records check revealed that Emmett had an active Hall County warrant. Contact was made with the homeowner who provided consent to search the home for the wanted person. Officers made several commands for Emmett to exit the room and to speak to officers, he refused. Emmett was arrested and booked into HCDC for FTA: PCS, No valid reg, defective lighting 29-426 IV FO Hall County CR24-3218 and Obstruct Police.

Victim: 43 yr old male, 31 yr old male Incident #: L25031533
Offender: Othman Mohamad
Date and Time of Incident: 3/14/25 @ 13:59
Location of Incident: 819 W 5th St
Brief Narrative: Othman Mohamad was arrested for the above charges after physically assaulting victim (causing pain and a contusion) with a wooden branch/piece of wood trim and then chasing him and trying to assault him with an aluminum bat. Othman would then strike his roommate’s dog "Boogie" in the head with a piece of wood trim causing the dog pain and a contusion. The criminal mischief charge is for an earlier reported damaging (estimated less than $500.00) of the front door of this residence where Othman was not located and could not be cited at that time. Mohamad was arrested for Animal Mistreatment, 2nd Degree Assault, Use Of Weapon To Commit Felony, Terroristic Threats, and Criminal Mischief.

Brief Narrative: On 03/15/2025 around 0113 hours Officers responded to 103 5th St E in reference to a disturbance. Officers contacted the victim who stated that an unknown male had threatened to kill him and used vulgar language towards him.

Date and Time of Incident: between 1/1/25 & 3/14/25
Location of Incident: 328 Redwood Rd
Brief Narrative: On 03/14/2025 while investigating another incident, officer was advised that three guns worth $2500 in total value were stolen from the residence. The guns were stolen nearly two months ago. Case is open.

Location of Incident: 2316 W Louise
Brief Narrative: Victim came to the police station to report that someone without his knowledge or permission used his personal identity information to open an account with AT&T and purchase a phone. The account was defaulted and turned over to a collection agency who reached out to the victim for payment. Case is open.

Location of Incident: 2608 W Charles
Brief Narrative: At approximately 1620 3/14/25, Officers responded to 2608 Charles St W reference a report of an Attempted Burglary. Victim reports an unknown individual damaged her back garage lock by prying it off. Lock was observed to be consistent damage with attempted burglary. Lock was valued at $20 to replace. Victim reports the last time the lock was observed undamaged was the fall of 2024. No access was gained to the structure, nothing was reported missing.

Offender: Corey Loveland
Date and Time of Incident: 3/15/25 @ 17:50
Location of Incident: 526 e Bismark Rd
Brief Narrative: Officers responded to 526 E Bismark Rd. in reference to a disturbance. The victim advised Corey Loveland had struck her arm and cracked her phone. The victim advised she is pregnant. Another victim advised a physical altercation had occurred and Corey had scratched the back of the victim's neck. The victim had a visible injury. Corey was then placed under arrest for
Criminal Mischief-$0-500, Assault-Cause Bodily Injury to Person and Assault-Bodily Injury/Pregnant Woman.

Offense: Vehicle Theft / Drugs
Victim: 50 yr old male Incident #: L25031603
Offender: Alejandro Loforte Escalona
Date and Time of Incident: 3/15/25
Location of Incident: 593 E 19th St
Brief Narrative: Victim reported his vehicle was stolen from the 500 block of E 19th St. The vehicle was later recovered in the 200 block of S Oak St, with interior vehicle parts having been stolen. Officers were made aware of a potential suspect residing at 218 S Oak St. Officers attempted contacted at 218 S Oak St, where they observed Alejandro Loforte Escalona run into the house. Alejandro Loforte Escalona was known to have an active Hall County arrest warrant. Alejandro eventually surrendered to the police, coming up from the basement. The resident in charge of the home gave officers permission to walk through the house looking for the stolen vehicle parts. While walking through, officers discovered a firearm, which was reported to belong to Alejandro, as he was holding it for a friend. Officers were also made aware of over 140 grams of methamphetamine reported to belong to Alejandro. Officers seized over 140 grams of a crystal-like substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine. The firearm and methamphetamine were found in the bedroom Alejandro sleeps in. Officers also located multiple long knives and swords, which Alejandro claimed possession of. Alejandro was convicted of a felony in Hall County District Court in July 2023 (CR22-780). Alejandro was arrested for Theft $1,500-$5,000, Possession Controlled Substance w/Intent to Distribute (140+grams), Possession Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person, Possession of Firearm by a Prohibited Person, Hall County Arrest Warrant: FTA: Resisting arrest, obstruction, 29-426, III FO CR25-90, Doc. No: 192645

Brief Narrative: On 03-15-2025 at approximately 1810 hours, officer responded to 1204 S Locust St in reference to a scam. Employee sent money through Bit Coin to a male over the phone. Total loss reported was $2055.91. Case is open.
