Offender: Manuel Solares Reyes

Location of Incident: W 5th St & N Clark St
Brief Narrative: On 11/27/2024, officers observed a Chevy Sedan driving eastbound on 4th street with the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Officers also observed the vehicle to have expired plates/registration since August of 2024. A traffic stop was conducted on 5th and Cedar. The driver was identified by his Nebraska Driver’s license as Manuel Solares Reyes. Manuel admitted to smoking marijuana prior to the stop. During a search of the vehicle officers located less than an ounce of marijuana. During SFST's Manuel showed indicators of impairment. Manuel provided a passing PBT sample. A DRE was request and after additional testing was preformed, the DRE advised Manuel is impaired by a drug and is unable to operate a motor vehicle safely. While at HCDC, Manuel advised he has cocaine in his sock. The white powdery substance tested positive for Cocaine on TruNarc and weighed 1.0 grams. Manuel was arrested and booked into HCC for DUI Drugs, Possession of Marijuana less 1 oz, Expired registration and Possession of Controlled Substance.

Brief Narrative: On 11-27-2024 at approximately 1822 hours, Officers responded to an assault at 221 S South Front St, YMCA. Juvenile male put another juvenile male in a choke hold restricting air causing the juvenile to pass out.

Brief Narrative: On 11/27/2024 the victim came to the Law Enforcement Office to report that someone is using her personal identity documents in Texas. Case is open.

Location of Incident: 415 S Cherry St; F32
Brief Narrative: On 11/27/2024 victim reported that someone had taken her PS5 from her residence and sold it without permission. Victim did not give the suspect permission to physically enter the home to remove the PS5. The PS5 was taken to a local pawn shop and a lean was placed on the item. The PS5 belongs to Premier Rental Purchase, the suspect did not have permission to sell the item or to put a lean on it. At this this this is an active open investigation.

Offender: Juan Mendoza & Guillermo Mendoza

Location of Incident: E 13th ST & N Pine St
Brief Narrative: On 11-28-2024 at approximately 12:06 hours a traffic stop was conducted on a green 2001 Saturn Vue. This vehicle was described as the suspect vehicle leaving 503 E 11th St. after the reporting party advised an unknown male went into his garage and then back out to the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was observed in the area and a traffic stop was conducted near 13th St and Pine St where Juan Mendoza was identified as the driver via a Nebraska operator’s license. Guillermo Mendoza who was a passenger in the vehicle, was also identified via a Nebraska operator’s license. Juan was unable to provide proof of insurance. While at the driver side door a pungent odor of alcoholic beverage was coming from inside the vehicle. Juan also had blood shot eyes and odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his person. Juan was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. Juan showed gross impairment and provided a failing preliminary breath test at the completion of the observation period. Juan also consented to a legal chemical breath test which showed a failing test result. Juan was placed under arrest and transported to the Hall County Department of Corrections without incident. Guillermo was observed discarding a plastic baggy out of the passenger side rear window. The plastic baggy contained a small amount of Cocaine. Guillermo was also placed under arrest and booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections without incident. During the inventory of the vehicle, marijuana, a marijuana grinder, various smoking pipes and an open alcoholic container were located throughout the cabin area of the vehicle Guillermo and Juan were seated within arm’s reach. Juan Mendoza arrested for No proof of insurance, DUI 1st offense, Possession of Marijuana less than 1oz, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Guillermo Mendoza arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Victim: 38 yr old male Incident #: L24112664
Offender: Kimberly Martinez
Date and Time of Incident: 11/28/24 @ 13:40
Location of Incident: 2719 W 4th St
Brief Narrative: On 11/23/2024 the victim came to the Law Enforcement Center to report an assault that had previously occurred. The victim stated that while living with Kimberly Martinez that he was assaulted with a pry bar, hit with broom handles and threatened to be killed and his body disposed of at a pig farm or a land fill. The victim had injuries corroborate his accusations that would be constant with being struck with long cylinder type items. During the investigation the residence at 2719 W. 4th St. did not have suitable living conditions for juvenile children due to infestation and sanitary reasons. 19 cats were removed from the house by Central Nebraska Humane Society. Two juvenile children were removed from the home and placed with DHHS Martinez was arrested and transported to Hall County Corrections for 2nd Degree Assault with a Weapon, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, Terroristic Threats and two counts on Negligent Child Abuse.

Location of Incident: 943 S Oak St
Brief Narrative: On 11/28/2024 officers responded to 943 S Oak St in reference to a theft of a vehicle. Upon arrival, victim reported that between the hours of 2230 11/27/2024 and 0450 11/28/2024 someone had taken his white 2019 GMC Acadia. Case is open.

Offender: Yonliher Toirac-Magana

Location of Incident: 2250 N Diers Ave
Brief Narrative: Loss Prevention Officer observed the offender select a watch in the jewelry section of the store, remove it from the packaging in the dog food area and place the packaging on the shelf. The offender was also observed selecting numerous small toy items from the shelf and concealing these in his coat. The offender purchased other items, exited the store without paying for the concealed items, and later located in the store parking lot. Yonliher Toirac-Magana was arrested for Theft by Shoplifting 4 prior IV FO/Hall County Warrant CR22-786 FTA.

Brief Narrative: Officers responded to 2530 W 5th St in reference to a vehicle theft. A grey 2013 Hyundai Sonata valued at $10,500 was reported as stolen.

Location of Incident: S Locust St & W Hwy 34
Brief Narrative: On 11/30/2024 at approximately 1926 hours, Officers were dispatched to the area of S Locust St. for a report of a stolen vehicle in the area via Flock notification. As Officers patrolled the
area, the stolen vehicle was located traveling southbound on S Locust St. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop near the intersection of S Eddy St. and South St. The vehicle would then flee from Officers towards S Locust St. The vehicle would then flee at a high rate of speed, showing complete disregard for other motorists or themselves on the roadway. Officers would discontinue attempting to make a traffic stop on the vehicle. No description of the driver or number of occupants in the vehicle were identified.

Brief Narrative: On 12/1/2024, officers received further notification of a protection order violation after the suspect has been made aware of attempts by law enforcement to contact him. The victim reported further text messages stating he sees her car and knows she is not the one driving it. Case is open.
