Brief Narrative: On 02-15-2026 at approximately 14:09 hours an attentions unit call was dispatched to the area of S. Locust St. and Stolley Park Rd, which detailed a vehicle driving carelessly. The vehicle and driver, Carlos Garza, were located. Carlos was found to be impaired. Mushrooms and THC wax were located in the vehicle. Carlos was placed under arrest for the charges listed below and booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections without incident.

Brief Narrative: On 02/15/2026, officers made contact with two reporting party's in reference to threatening. The case is under investigation.

Location of Incident: College Street
Brief Narrative: On 2-16-2026 at around 1518 hrs, GIPD officers responded to the listed above location, reference a physical disturbance involving an adult male and juveniles. During the investigation it was found that Michael Brown, exited his personal vehicle and approached a group of kids protesting on the sidewalk. During the investigation it was found that Michael physically assaulted one of the juveniles to the point of causing injury. Michael was arrested for felony child abuse.

Victim: 23 yr old male & 63 yr old male

Brief Narrative: Officers called to a disturbance. It was found that the suspect had assaulted both his father and brother using a belt and the buckle attached causing injury. He was arrested and
transported to HCC.
