Offender: Shane Draper
Date and Time of Incident: 3/26/24 @ 13:56
Location of Incident: 503 Memorial Dr
Brief Narrative: On 03-26-2024 at approximately 13:56 hours, a theft call was dispatched to 503 Memorial Dr. where the resident observed Shane Draper through a ring doorbell taking a package containing medical prescriptions valued at $6552 from the porch. Shane would be contacted near Vine St and Bismark Rd. with the package in his hand. Shane would become confrontational, pull away from this Officer after being told he was detained and to not resist
arrest. Shane attempted to break my grip from his wrist as officer was attempting and instructing him to put his hands behind his back. A leg strike was delivered to Shane's left thigh as Shane failed to comply and officer had to force Shane to the ground where Shane was placed into double locked handcuffs then searched incident to arrest. Shane was arrested for Theft by unlawful taking +$5000, Resisting Arrest Subsequent Offense and Obstructing a Police Officer.

Location of Incident: 2103 W Stolley Park Rd
Brief Narrative: Three juveniles were contacted in Stolley Park after park curfew. One juvenile male had schedule II pills on his person. Another juvenile male had schedule II pills in his wallet. Both juvenile males were referred for Possession of Controlled Substance. All juveniles were released to their parents.

Victim: Azteca Market Incident #: L24031819
Date and Time of Incident: 3/26/24 @ 22:48
Location of Incident: 103 W 3rd St
Brief Narrative: On 03-26-2024 at approximately 2248, officer responded to W 103 3rd St, Azteca Market in reference to a citizen assist. Employee sent money to an unknown person over the phone. There was two total transactions sent at a total of $3925. Owner of the business caught on to the scam and stopped it during an additional transaction. Case is under investigation.
