Brief Narrative: On 05/16/2025 at 1107 hours officers made contact with an adult female who reported that her husband had physically assaulted her leaving visible bruising on her person. The victim relayed that she was pregnant at the time of the assault and the suspect was aware of her condition. Jose Briones was arrested for Domestic Assault 3rd Degree Pregnancy Enhancement 28-323 FO IIIA.

Offender: Anneudis Arias Pena

Brief Narrative: Anneudis Arias Pena drove behind LEC, past the signs indicated no trespassing, then brandished a large knife he had concealed in his waistband. Anneudis was determined to be in actual physical control of the vehicle, which he drove to LEC. Anneudis displayed signs of impairment and was administered field sobriety tests. He was administered a drug recognition evaluation and determined to not be safe to operate a motor vehicle. Drug paraphernalia was found on Anneudis's person. He was arrested for Possession of a Deadly Weapon by Prohibited Person, DUI, Drugs, 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Trespassing.

Brief Narrative: On May 17, 2025, officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a vehicle that committed multiple traffic violations. After the traffic stop was initiated, the vehicle fled from officers. The vehicle was later involved in an injury accident and the driver of the vehicle, Leonardo Soto, was later found in the area. Leonardo was arrested for Operate Motor Vehicle/Avoid Arrest-Felony, Drive During Revocation/Impound-1st, Reckless Driving and Disobey Stop Lights.

Offender: Roberto Moreno & Alonso Copas

Location of Incident: 1607 S Locust St
Brief Narrative: Roberto Moreno was contacted during a traffic stop at 1607 Locust St S STE B; Thunder Road parking lot, after he was observed making an improper turn. Roberto admitted to
drinking alcoholic beverages prior to the traffic stop and had an open alcoholic beverages in the center console. Roberto had blood shot watery eyes and slurred speech. Roberto also had the odor of alcoholic beverages emanating from his person. An administration records check of Roberto showed he was driving while revoked. It also showed Roberto had 3 prior DUI convictions within the last 15 years. Roberto showed signs of impairment during SFST’s and provided a failing PBT sample. Inside of Roberto's wallet Officers located a 1 dollar bill with a White powdery substance inside, that later tested positive for Cocaine. During the traffic stop Alonso Copas was the passenger and fled on foot after he was told by Officers not to leave. Roberto Moreno was arrested for Driving while Revoked from DUI- II FO, DUI- Alcohol 4th Offense- III FO, Possession of Controlled Substance-Cocaine-IV FO, Improper Turn- INF, and Open container – INF. Alonso Copas was cited for Obstruct Government Operations- I MO

Brief Narrative: On 05/17/2025, officers took a report at the Law Enforcement Center regarding an assault that took place between an adult female and two adult males. One of the males is in an intimate relationship with the female. At the time the report was taken, the female victim was unable to be contacted. Case is open.

Brief Narrative: Victim reported to have sent over $12,000, over the course of the past 8 months, to associates of a Facebook profile. The victim claimed he would receive a Residency Immigration status in return, which has yet to occur. The profile and associates were believed to be fictitious. This investigation is ongoing.

Brief Narrative: On 05/18/25 contact was made with Christian Munoz who had an active and confirmed Hall County warrant at LEC. Christian was arrested for his Hall County Warrant: Flight To Avoid Arrest Felony, Obstruction, False Reporting, DDR 1st and Stop Sign Violation.

Brief Narrative: On 5-18-2025 1548 hrs, officer observed a motorcycle driving in a careless manner on the roadway on 2nd Street. While trying to initiate a traffic stop, the motorcycle fled between multiple vehicles and out of sight.
