Location of Incident: 1803 North Front St W
Brief Narrative: On 04/14/2025, Officers responded to the area of 1803 W North after a known person reported an adult male falling in the parking lot and who was now seated in a white Buick sedan with license plates 8E2228 in the alleyway. Officers arrived and observed a white older model Buick sedan parked at the back of the address in an alleyway with direct access to a public roadway. Officers would observe the vehicle to be running and upon arrival the vehicle would proceed to be shut off when officers approached the vehicle. Officers contacted Lynn Rieke identified by a Nebraska driver's license. During interaction with officers, Lynn would display lack of balance, and bloodshot eyes. Officers would observe Lynn's speech to be slurred and incoherent at times. Officers would also detect the odor of alcohol emanating from Lynn's person. While speaking with officers, Lynn would be unable to locate his vehicle keys. Lynn would proceed to start his car multiple times without the keys and stated to officers the car did not need keys to start. Lynn told officers that his vehicle was running when they first contacted him and that he was planning on driving home. Officers found Lynn to be in actual physical control of a motor vehicle because of his location in the front driver's seat, the vehicle ability to be started without keys, officer's observing the vehicle running, and the reporting party stating they heard the vehicle running. Lynn admitted to consuming alcohol prior to entering the vehicle. During the investigation, Lynn would refuse to submit to a preliminary breath test. Lynn was arrested and transported to the HCDC for booking where he submitted to a chemical test. Officers conducted an administrative check and found Lynn to have two prior convictions driving under the influence in the last 15 years with the following conviction dates and case numbers; 03-13-2015 C14CR140001117, and 05-19-2010 C46CR100000047. Lynn was booked into HCDC for DUI-.15+ or Refusal (2 Prior conv), and DUI of Alcoholic Liquor/Drugs; Preliminary Breath test; refusal; penalty.

Offender: Said Hassan

Location of Incident: E Ashton Ave & S Sycamore St
Brief Narrative: On April 15, 2025, Said Hassan was contacted as the driver in a traffic stop for a stop sign violation. During the traffic stop, Hassan fled on foot but was quickly apprehended. During a search of his vehicle, approximately 13 lbs of suspected Khat was located. Approximately 5 lbs was individually packaged and ready for sales. Hassan was placed under arrest for Stop sign Violation, Obstructing a Police Officer and Possession of Controlled Substance w/ Intent to Distribute.

Brief Narrative: On 4-14-2025 at around 10:33 am, officer responded to the listed above location reference a theft from an ATM machine. During the investigation It was found $13,000 in cash was taken from the ATM. At this time the case is open.
