Location of Incident: 2603 S Locust
Brief Narrative: On 4/13/2025 officer responded to 2603 S Locust St. reference suspicious person. Officer arrived and contacted an adult male who was verbally identified as Miguel Trejo. Miguel was located near the area where the reporting party reported someone trying to break into their shed causing damage. Burglary tools were found near the door where Miguel attempted to make entry. Miguel was not allowed on the property and was accessing a fenced in area. Miguel was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Criminal Trespass 2nd Degree, Burglary and Possession of Burglars Tools.

Location of Incident: 817 Church Rd
Brief Narrative: On 04/12/2025, an Officer was directed to contact a juvenile female in reference to a "kill list" being made involving the juvenile female's classmates. The juvenile female was contacted and denied making the list. There were no further causes for immediate concern from Officers and School staff. Contact was made with school staffing and School Resource Officers over the incident. Case is open.

Location of Incident: 411 Sheridan Ave
Brief Narrative: On 4/12/2025 officer responded to 411 N Sheridan Ave reference a Robbery. A male unlawfully entered the residence., assaulted an adult female, robbed her for her keys and stole her vehicle with two juveniles present. The female attempted to exit the residence and was physically stopped by the male. The male suspect and the female victim were previously in a relationship. The male fled the area in the vehicle avoiding police contact. Alex Cruz has been referred for Domestic Assault 3rd Degree, Negligent Child Abuse x2, Theft- Unlawful Taking $1,500- 4,999, Robbery, False Imprisonment 1st Degree and Burglary.

Offender: Joel Quezada
Date and Time of Incident: 4/13/25 @ 14:08
Location of Incident: Forrest St & N Broadwell
Brief Narrative: Officer observed a vehicle turn northbound on Broadwell Ave from the Dollar General parking lot. The vehicle was observed to have illegal window tint. Officer activated overhead red and blue lights to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicle fled from the traffic stop at a high rate of speed, well in excess of the posted speed limit (30 mph), and made a turn without signaling. The vehicle also turned into a residential neighborhood where it continued fleeing at a high rate of speed. Joel Quezada was observed by officers exiting the driver's seat of this vehicle about an hour earlier. Joel was also identified as the driver by a different witness. Joel has a suspended driver's license. Joel Quezada has been referred for the charges of DDS, Flight to Avoid Arrest, Speeding, and Fail to Signal.

Brief Narrative: Victim reports an unknown person took her white 2001 GMC Sierra pickup. The vehicle had been parked on the street with the keys inside.

Location of Incident: 1006 Stonewood Ave
Brief Narrative: On 04/13/2025 at 2031 hrs, Officers were dispatched to 1006 Stonewood Ave for a reported theft call for service. It was reported someone stole $5,000 from the victim's safe.

Victim: 27 yr old male Incident #: L25041289
Date and Time of Incident: 4/13/25 @ 01:00
Location of Incident: 805 E 8th St
Brief Narrative: On 04-13-2025 a belated vehicle theft was reported at 805 E 8th St. The reporting party and owner of a red 2013 Kia Optima reports it was stolen from his driveway sometime after 01:00 hours on 04-13-2025. The reporting party advised the car was valued at $5000.
