Location of Incident: 3632 Hidden Pointe Dr
Brief Narrative: On 01/14/2024, Officers were dispatched to 3632 Hidden Pointe Dr. reference a theft. Upon arrival, the victim advised when he arrived home from work he discovered valuables missing. He advised a houseguest was in the residence when he left for work at approximately 0940 hours and was no longer there when he returned around 2030 hours. Investigation is open and ongoing.

Location of Incident: 2620 Faidley Ave
Brief Narrative: On 1/15/2024 officers responded to a reported domestic assault within the city limits of Grand Island. Through investigation it was found neither parties reported to being involved in the assault had called 911. Maria Velasco was found to have called 911 and impersonated a female claiming to have been assaulted by a male. Maria was later contacted and eventually admitted to calling 911 and reporting the assault. It was found Maria has previously called and impersonated the female showing a pattern of Maria infringing on the victims personal liberty. Maria will be referred for False Reporting, Criminal Impersonation and Stalking.

Date and Time of Incident: 1/15/24 @ 21:55
Location of Incident: 116 East Ln
Brief Narrative: On 01/15/2024 officers responded to 116 East Ln in reference to an assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was reported to officers that a juvenile male had became upset and began to assault the reporting party. While assaulting the reporting party, the juvenile male placed his hands around the reporting parties neck impeding her breathing. Reported party did not wish to pursue criminal charges at the time of report.

Brief Narrative: Juvenile contacted during welfare checked alleges she was "raped" when she was 8, 9 and 10 years of age. Investigation to be conducted.
