Location of Incident: 420 N Broadwell

Brief Narrative: Officers were detailed to the area of 4th and Broadwell (Casey's) for a removal of subject. While responding Officers were further advised the subject had left the property and was now in traffic with his pants halfway down. Upon Officer arrival contact was made with the male subject who had again wandered into traffic and was ignoring officer’s direction to stop and speak with the officer. The male, who was later identified as David Benitez-Lopez, needed to be pulled out of the road to allow traffic flow. The male continued to pull away from this Officer and was directed to turn around to be detained in handcuffs. The male began pulling away from the Officer and needed to be taken to the ground to be secured in handcuffs. The male continued to resist Officers by placing his foot against the side of the patrol car to prevent being seated in the patrol car. While later being booked into jail, the male was observed by Hall County Correctional Officers and nursing staff to have multiple blue pills concealed in his underwear. The male would collect an unknown number of these pills, put them in his mouth and begin chewing on them. Ten pills, later identified as a schedule 4 controlled substance as Clonazepam, were collected with another 3 pills rolling down a nearby drain. David Benitez Lopez was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, Obstructing a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest.

Location of Incident: 415 S Cherry St; Bldg L
Brief Narrative: At approximately 1301 3/5/25, Officers responded to a report of an individual showing drugs to individuals at 415 Cherry St S. Officers contacted Kaylee Gordon as the individual involved. While speaking to Kaylee, Officers heard Kaylee manipulating drug paraphernalia in her pocket. Kaylee allowed officers to feel her coat and a glass pipe was immediately recognized and would be seized. A search of Kaylee located methamphetamine in a baggie in her back pocket. The methamphetamine was later confirmed during processing and weighed .9 grams. She was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession Drug Paraphernalia.

Offender: Ryan Redinger

Location of Incident: 120 E 3rd St
Brief Narrative: On 03/06/2025, a Nissan Juke was observed failing to use a turn signal when turning eastbound on South Front St. A traffic stop was conducted on South Front and Sycamore. A records check of the license plate revealed the plates were expired. The driver was identified by his Nebraska Driver's license as Ryan Redinger. Ryan was unable to provide a valid registration for the vehicle. Ryan consented to a search of the vehicle, during the search officers located a syringe of suspected methamphetamine behind the driver seat. The syringe tested positive for methamphetamine during a TruNarc test. Ryan was arrested for No Valid Registration and Possession Controlled Substance.

Brief Narrative: On 3/5/2025 around 16:55 officers responded to a residence in reference to a
juvenile problem. Case is ongoing.
