GI Police Investigate Several Felonies

Offense: Flight to Avoid Arrest
Victim: Incident #: L24010405
Offender: Ezequiel Barraza- Anguiano
Date and Time of Incident: 1/6/24 @ 04:58
Location of Incident: W 13th & N Eddy St

Brief Narrative: On 01/06/2024 officers were stopping at the intersection of Faidley Ave and
Broadwell Ave when they observed a silver Pontiac G6 with Nebraska License plate 8D65
travelling north bound through the intersection. As the G6 drove through the intersection, the
driver would look directly at officers allowing them to identify the driver as Ezequiel BarrazaAnguiano. This would further be confirmed through previous booking photos. Ezequiel's license status is known to be suspended and revoked. The license plate of 8D65 is also known
to be fictitious. Officers attempted a traffic stop in the area of 13th and N Eddy after Ezequiel
failed to use his turn signal while he executed a right turn onto W 13th St. from N Broadwell.
Ezequiel would proceed to turn off the lights of the vehicle and begin to flee from the stop at a
high rate of speed on snow covered icy roads. Officers would discontinue the stop due Ezequiel
fleeing the attempted stop in a reckless manner. Ezequiel would later be placed under arrest
on 01/07/2024 for unrelated charges.

Ezequiel was arrested for Flight to Avoid Arrest, Fictitious License Plate, No Red Tail Light,
Driving During Suspension, Driving During Revocation and Failure to Signal.

Offense: Theft
Victim: Heartland Health Center Incident #: L24010358
Date and Time of Incident: between 12/26/23 1/5/24
Location of Incident: 2116 W Faidley Ave
Brief Narrative: Unknown person using unknown means accessed restricted account and
spent $2004.95 (all online and at out of state locations). Reporting party only wants report to
get money refunded.


Offense: Weapon Offense
Victim: 22 year old male & 33 year old male Incident #: L24010397
Date and Time of Incident: 1/5/24 @ 23:35
Location of Incident: 111 Lakeview Cir; Apt 6
Brief Narrative: On 1/5/2024 at approximately 23:35, Officers responded to Lakeview Cir in
reference to a disturbance. Through investigation, it was found during a verbal disagreement
between roommates both roommates pulled firearms on each other and pointed them at each
other. Neither roommate wanted to pursue charges for terroristic threats and use of a weapon
to commit a felony.

Victim: 42 year old female Incident #: L24010396
Offender: 13 year old male
Date and Time of Incident: 1/5/24 @ 22:40
Location of Incident: 235 S Sycamore
Brief Narrative: On 01-05-2024 at approximately 2240 hours, officers responded to the Law
Enforcement Center on a report of an assault. An adult female reported that her juvenile male
son assaulted her. She stated that during the physical altercation the juvenile male choked her
to the point she could not breathe. The male then punched her in the face when he was on top
of her and held her arms down causing pain. The juvenile male was transported and booked
into Sarpy County Juvenile Detention Center for 3rd Degree Assault and Assault by
Strangulation.

Offense: Burglary
Victim: 42 year old female & 79 year old female Incident #: L24010352
Date and Time of Incident: between 12/1/23 & 1/5/24
Location of Incident: 3007 North Rd N
Brief Narrative: Unknown person entered an unsecured storage unit facility and cut locks of
one storage unit and took assorted miscellaneous items worth approximately $100.00

Offender: Bryonna Osborne
Date and Time of Incident: 1/6/24 @ 05:00
Location of Incident: 2620 W Faidley Ave
Brief Narrative: A registered nurse at CHI St Francis, reports while speaking to a patient she
became very irate and pushed the nurse over into his computer while he was charting. He
advised she caused pain to his left side. This was witnessed by another nurse. The patient
appeared to be highly intoxicated at the time and was completely uncooperative with any tests
or exams. Bryonna Osborne was arrested for 3rd degree Assault on a Medical Professional.

Offender: Ezequiel Barraza- Anguiano
Date and Time of Incident: between 1/6/24 & 1/7/24
Location of Incident: 589 E 19th St
Brief Narrative: On 01/07/2024 officers were conducting a search warrant for Ezequiel
Barraza- Anguiano at 589 E 19th St. While conducting a search for Ezequiel inside of the
residence suspected marijuana was located inside of the residence in the bedroom that
Ezequiel was removed from. Officers also observed a blue 2007 Pontiac G6 with Nebraska
license plate 8D65 in the driveway with suspected marijuana in plain view inside of the
vehicle. This vehicle, driven by Ezequiel, was also observed earlier in the night fleeing from
officers attempting a traffic stop. A search warrant for illegal substances was later obtained
for both the residence and the vehicle. During the search of the residence and vehicle a large
quantity of marijuana and a controlled substance were located along with drug paraphernalia.
Officers also located packaging and a scale with marijuana residue consistent with
distribution of marijuana. Ezequiel was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to
Distribute, Possession of Controlled Substance & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Offense: Possess Deadly Weapon-Prohibited Person

Offender: Crystal Michaelski
Date and Time of Incident: 1/6/24 @ 14:23
Location of Incident: 909 W 1st St
Brief Narrative: On 01/06/2024 at approximately 1445 hours officers were dispatched to
909 W 1st due to a suspicious female breaking windows at the residence. The female was
wearing a metal cloth mask, dark clothing, and possessed a butcher knife that was measured
approximately 10 inches. Victim stated the suspect had taken their drill valued at $100 and
walked westbound. The suspect was identified as Crystal Michaelski who matched the
description provided, near 1st on Greenwich street. Crystal possessed the butcher knife and
drill when contacted. Crystal was placed under arrest after records check showed she was a
prohibited person with a weapon for Theft-Unlawful Taking and Possess Deadly Weapon Prohibited Person.

Offender: Ezequiel Barraza-Anguiano

Location of Incident: E Hwy 30 & Stuhr Rd S
Brief Narrative: On 01-06-2024 at approximately 2054 hours, Officer observed a silver
Pontiac G6 parked at 2028 Hwy 30, Pump and Pantry at a gas pump. The vehicle matched the
description of a vehicle that fled from officers. The vehicle license plate of 8D65 is known to
be fictitious. Officer pulled up to the vehicle to see if the owner was in the gas station. The
driver was in the vehicle, noticed the officer, and put it into gear. Officer got next to the
vehicle and seen the driver as the vehicle took off. The driver was identified as Ezequiel
Barraza-Anguiano and verified with a Hall County Department of Correction booking photo
after a record check. Ezequiel has a revoked driver's license. The officer activated his lights to
attempt to stop the vehicle. The vehicle left east on Hwy 30 at a high rate of speed pulling into
the west bound lane of traffic. Officer stayed in the parking lot and deactivated his lights.
Ezequiel was then located at his residence with the vehicle. He was arrested for Flight to
Avoid Arrest, Drive During Revocation and Fictitious Plates.

Date and Time of Incident: 1/6/24 @ 18:33
Location of Incident: S Greenwich & W Oklahoma
Brief Narrative: On 1/6/2024 around 18:30 a Pontiac G6 with Nebraska license plates 8D65
was witnessed driving north bound on Eddy St near Fonner Park Rd. A records check was ran
on the plate and found that it did not return to the vehicle. A traffic stop was attempted at S
Greenwich St and Oklahoma Ave. The vehicle accelerated at a high rate of speed failing to
stop at the stop sign of the intersection of Oklahoma Ave and S Greenwich St. The vehicle
continued northbound on Greenwich St. at a high rate of speed and failed to stop at the stop
sign at the intersection of Greenwich St and Anna St. The Pontiac had to swerved to avoid a
collision with a westbound vehicle on Anna St. The vehicle continued to drive northbound on
Greenwich where sparks could be seen coming from the vehicle as it went through
intersections.

Location of Incident: E 17th & N Sycamore
Brief Narrative: On 1/6/2024 at 1855 hours officer would attempt a traffic stop on a blue
Pontiac G6 NE 8D65 at 17th St and Sycamore St. The vehicle would take off from the officer
at a high rate of speed to the South on N Sycamore St and turn off it's lights.
