GI City Offices Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Grand Island, Neb. — With the upcoming Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, the City of Grand Island would like to announce various closures.
All of the below departments will be closed on Monday, January 20:
* Grand Island City Hall
* Grand Island Cemetery Office
* Utilities Service Center
* GIPD Service Desk (Please call 9-1-1)
* Grand Island Public Library
* Heartland Public Shooting Park
* Wastewater Treatment Plant
The Community Fieldhouse will be open for its normal hours, as will the Solid Waste, Streets Department and Fleet Services. CRANE Public Transit Service will also operate its normal hours.
All city facilities will be resuming normal business hours on Tuesday, January 21.
