Fourth Graders Wrap up Ag Day

Around 700 fourth graders took part in the annual Ag Day activities at the Sheep Barn and Five Points Livestock Arena at Fonner Park. 

The event is sponsored by the Hall County Agricultural Committee. Ag Day Chair Annette Schimmer says, "Because the agricultural community is one of the most significant economic drivers in this area, the Agriculture Committee works to ensure that the youth of the community are familiar with the agriculture economy and the impact is has on the Grand Island/Hall County area. "
