Dr. Talalaev new critical care pulmonologist at Good Samaritan


KEARNEY–CHI Health Clinic Pulmonary Medicine/Critical Care (Good Samaritan) welcomes board-certified critical care pulmonologist Dr. Michael Talalaev, DO to its staff. 

Dr. Talalaev, a decorated Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of lung and respiratory system injuries and diseases. His expertise extends to emergency medicine and providing critical care for severely ill patients in an intensive care unit setting. Dr. Talalaev also possesses advanced clinical training from an ACGME-accredited Pulmonology/Critical Care program, with a primary focus on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and Interventional Pulmonology procedures.

Dr. Talalaev earned his medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, NY. He completed an anesthesia internship, internal medicine residency, and pulmonology and critical care fellowship at Larkin Community Hospital, Hialeah, FL.  

Dr. Talalaev was employed as an attending pulmonology and critical care physician at Sanford Health Medical Center in Fargo, ND before moving to Kearney. 

Dr. Talalaev joins critical care pulmonologist Dr. Meenakshi Ghosh and acute care nurse practitioner Melissa Hoferer, APRN. Their practice, located at 3219 Central Ave, Suite 200, is open weekdays from 8 am until 5 pm.
