OMAHA, Neb. -- Serbian center Aleksa Dimitrijević has signed a letter-of-intent to enroll at Creighton and join the men's basketball program.

Listed at 7-foot-1 and 225 pounds, Dimitrijević has played on the Serbian U18/U19 National Teams, helping the U18 squad to the silver medal last summer at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket competition. He averaged 10.4 points and 7.1 rebounds in that event, making 61.1 percent of his 36 two-point field goal attempts and converted 67.6 percent of his 34 foul shot tries. Dimitrijević also had 19 blocks and seven steals in seven games, which included six victories.

He played in Euroleague ANGT (March 2024) and averaged 14.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2,.0 blocked shots per game. During the 2024-25 season he was a member of KK Partizan in his hometown of Belgrade, Serbia.

"We are excited to add Aleksa to our program," said Creighton head coach Greg McDermott. "His size and skill set is a great fit for our offensive system. He will also provide rim protection on the defensive end of the floor. His work ethic and desire to improve were evident when he visited Omaha. We look forward to having him in a Bluejay uniform!"

He also visited Illinois and Michigan.

Dimitrijević joins a talented group of Bluejay newcomers that includes incoming freshman Hudson Greer along with Charlotte transfer Nik Graves as well as Iowa transfers Owen Freeman and Josh Dix.

Creighton finished the 2024-25 season with a 25-11 record and is one of four schools to win at least one NCAA Tournament game each of the past five seasons.
