OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton University McCormick Endowed Athletic Director Marcus Blossom has named Andre Streete Associate Athletic Director for Development along with additional staff announcements on Wednesday, July 9th.

Streete was promoted from his role as Assistant Athletic Director, Athletic Development and Sport Administration that he had held since October. Streete joined Creighton in August of 2021 in athletics development and ticketing before moving into the role as Assistant Director of Athletic Development in December of 2022. An instrumental team member, Streete has facilitated and secured significant gifts to help Creighton accomplish record growth in fundraising over the past four years. Streete is a former men’s soccer student-athlete at the University of South Carolina.

“Andre is an excellent fundraiser and also has a strong understanding of ticket sales and operations. He's a talented young professional that has not only been a great asset to athletic development, but to our entire department,” said Blossom.

In addition to Streete, Joe Cleary moves to Assistant Athletic Director for Administration, and JJ Stannard becomes the Associate Director of Marketing and Sales.

Cleary has been at Creighton since 2022 and previously served as Senior Academic Coordinator. In his new position he will oversee internal operations in addition to working with human resources, budget management and contracts, as well as sport oversight. Prior to his time at Creighton, Cleary served as a men’s and women’s soccer coach at various schools throughout the NCAA Division I, II and III levels.

Stannard has worked locally in Omaha as a Regional Sales Manager with TFL (Tickets for Less) for the past two years, leading the region's strategic ticketing efforts around the College World Series and various sporting events. He previously served in a variety of roles at MECA including Premium Seating Manager from 2016-20.

“Joe Cleary has done a tremendous job in our academic office assisting our student-athletes and coaches and I am looking forward to him continuing to thrive at Creighton in this next role in our department,” said Blossom. “We have known JJ for several years now and we are excited that he is joining our department to help our marketing, sales and fan experience team.”

Creighton Athletics is coming off a standout year competitively with a fourth place standing in the Division I-AAA Athletic Directors Association All-Sports Trophy standings for 2024-25 among the 98 Division I schools that do not sponsor football.
