Community Vaping Educational Event-April 29


Grand Island, NE--CHI Health St. Francis and the Hall County Tobacco Free Coalition are hosting a free educational event for the community at 6:30 pm on Monday, April 29 at the Grand Island Public Library, 1124 W 2nd St. “Learn the Truth: Vaping 101” exposes that most e-cigarettes tobacco products contain nicotine, even brands claiming to be “nicotine-free.” It will also explore the health risks including irreversible lung damage and lung disease.

E-cigarettes usage amongst youth has become an epidemic according to the American Lung Association–20% (5 million) of all youth use e-cigarettes, a 135% increase in just two years.

This presentation is free to the community. Pre-registration is not required.
