Coaching changes announced at GISH

Several coaching changes have been announced at Grand Island Senior High.

Montie Fyfe will step in to serve as head girls basketball coach after Kathryn Langrehr resigned to focus on family time. Fyfe previously served as an assistant for the girls program, plus is currently serving as the head boys track and field coach at GISH. In the classroom, Fyfe is a freshman seminar teacher.
Braeden Mlinar is moving up to be the new head volleyball coach at Grand Island Senior High after serving as an assistant for the last two seasons. Mlinar, a resource teacher at GISH, is replacing Marcus Ehrke, who is leaving coaching to spend more time with his growing family.
Jeremiah Slough has announced he is pursuing an administrative opportunity, so is resigning as boys basketball and girls golf coach effective at the end of the school year. The search is underway to fill both positions.
