City of Grand Island and City Administrator "Part Ways"

(Grand Island, NE) - In a social media post on the official pages of the City of Grand Island, information was shared that the City Administrator, Laura McAloon, and the City of Grand Island have parted ways. 

KRGI News reached out to the Grand Island City Communications Manager, Spencer Shuber, asking if McAloon was terminated or if she resigned from her position. How long did she serve in this position with Grand Island? Who is the interim city administrator? Is there a timeline or plan going forward for a replacement?

“As this is a personnel matter, the City will not be providing further comment. All duties and responsibilities of the role are being handled by the City Administration.” The rest is currently under assessment by city administration for the next steps."
