CCC Building Damaged

The Phelps Building at Central Community College-Hastings sustained water damage after a pipe burst outside of the building over the weekend. The basement was flooded, and the electricity and boiler system were affected. Only the IT room and internet services have some power back, but the rest of the building is still unusable. The Phelps Building is home to CCC’s learning support services department, eSports and the print shop. The college is relocating learning support services and eSports to other buildings and working to find a solution to resume print shop operations as soon as feasible. The CCC spring 2024 semester began today without disruption from the water main break.
