Buffalo County Selects New Website Provider

BUFFALO COUNTY, NEBRASKA. – (June 26, 2024) – Following a careful review process and a confident recommendation, Buffalo County, Nebraska is proud to announce that it has selected Schneider Geospatial’s Beacon™ product as the foremost applicable vendor for its Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as of July 1, 2024.

Buffalo County’s Beacon™ web portal will feature a publicly-accessible site that includes important property taxation and assessment information, in-depth search capabilities, property reports with sketches and photos. Beacon™ also provides users the ability to view an interactive map of the County’s GIS data and aerial photography, as well as convenient tools to collect specific parcel information.

Because all website set-up, development, hosting and maintenance tasks are handled by Schneider Geospatial, there is no need for Buffalo County to purchase additional equipment. Training for the public will be announced; please visit Buffalo County’s website.
