D1 Softball dubbed Nebraska softball junior Jordy Bahl as the No. 2 Pitcher to watch on Tuesday. The honor marks her fourth of the preseason, as she was also D1 Softball’s No. 2 Player to Watch overall, along with being named a Softball America First-Team All-American and the organization’s No. 9 Player to Watch.
Bahl enters her second season with the Huskers after suffering a season-ending injury in NU’s first game of the 2024 season. Prior to coming to Nebraska, the junior competed for Oklahoma, where she was a two-time NFCA First-Team All-American and two-time Big 12 Pitcher of the Year. She was also the 2022 National Freshman of the Year. Bahl owns a 1.06 career ERA, along with a .350 batting average.
Bahl and the rest of the Huskers will open their season at the NFCA Leadoff Classic from Feb. 6-9 in Clearwater, Fla.
