B7 Sub District Starts Tonight In York

(York, NE) - Class B boys' post-season basketball run starts tonight in the state of Nebraska. The B7 sub-district will take place at York High School. The first game at 5:30 pm will take place at 5:30 pm with Lexington (4-19) vs York (9-13). Tonight will be the second meeting of the year between the Minutemen and Dukes who met in Lexington on December 9th with York winning 64-51. 

The second semi-final game at 7:00 pm will be Hastings (9-12) vs Northwest (8-14). The two teams matched up on Tuesday, Jan. 30th with Hastings winning 69-45. The Tigers come in with a three-game winning streak with their regular season finale coming on Feb. 17th winning vs Minden 56-49. The Viking boys have gone 4-6 in their last ten games. Last week Northwest fell at North Platte on Monday the 12th 56-50, but then bounced back the next night winning vs Mt Michael 62-56 after trailing by 10 points in the second half. The Vikings wrapped up the regular season last Friday with a loss to Elkhorn North 71-47.
