Attempted ATM theft investigated in Axtell

AXTELL - On Sunday at approximately 3:45 a.m., the Kearney County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the First State Bank atm located near 1st Avenue and Highway 6 in Axtell. Upon arrival it was found that a pick-up truck had pulled the ATM off of its base. The pick-up was abandoned, and the subjects were nowhere to be found.

This case is currently under investigation by the Kearney County Sheriff's Office.
